Here is what I currently have in mind for the plant list:

  • Only plants over 1 week will be displayed on the living plant list.
  • Instead of saying how old each plant is it will say what day it was planted.
  • It will be split into 3 categories: Plants over 1 year, 1 month, and 1 week old.
  • The dead plant list will say how old the plant was when it died.
  • Both lists will have to be somewhat crowdsourced.

Ok so I understand this is a major downgrade from the previous plant list but this is definitely much more sustainable and I would rather there be a somewhat accurate rarely-updated list rather than a list that is always outdated.

If you would like a plant to be added to the living plant list please @ me with its name, type of plant, and the day it was planted. Only do this if the plant is over a week old.

If you would like a plant to be added to the dead plant list please @ me with its name, type of plant, the day it was planted, and the day it died. The plant could be less than a week old.

For now only reported plants will be considered for the "Notable Plants" category.
