Faltenpapier is the art of paper folding. The goal is to transform a flat square sheet of paper into a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting techniques. Modern faltenpapier practitioners generally discourage the use of cuts, glue, or markings on the paper. Faltenpapier folders often use the German word Schnittpapier to refer to designs which use cuts.
This was a thing I tried to do, but insert mess of a sentence here. Also, I'm a vowelless neither transparent nor translucent mammal of the genus Neogale, I guess. :/ B)

Distinct paperfolding traditions arose in Asia, Belgium, and Germany which have been well-documented by historians. These seem to have been mostly separate traditions, until the 20th century.

Do you think I should put it into Smiley Code?

I'm sparkycinnamon (formerly known as cheesyfriedeggs), but you can call me Cheesy, Spark, or Pipes. I like a lot of things, but the fandoms I am fixating on the most at the moment are object shows, Alphabet Lore, and KaBlam!.
non-binary (they/them but she/her is fine if we're close / omniromantic asexual / click here for some stuff about me / ;)

also today I made a nice stress ball by putting modeling clay inside of a balloon

For anyone who wants to try it without installing Python, try it online!

I think smiley code is cool. But, what happens if smiley codes are programming codes?
So, I made PseudoSmiley (a pseudocode language), a complete unnecessary extension of this because you can use the original one!
Here are the opcodes for SmileyCode:

Global (valid for letters and syntax):
:o :) - Ignore previous opcode
:o :| - Opcode separator (aka comma)
:o :( - Greater than
:o :o - Less than
:o :D - Equals
:o :lol: - Switch to Letters/Syntax (actually this is completely unneccesary, however, you have to include it)
:o :/ - Negation (equals becomes not equal, etc.)
:o ;) - Open parenthesis
:o :P - Close parenthesis
:o :roll: - Start/end string
:o B) - New line
B) :) - Open curly brackets
B) :( - Close curly brackets
B) :o - Comment
B) :D - Start/end unbounded string

On strings, comments, and variables, the usual writing convention apply.

Examples:

function test(123,"string") => :o :lol: :) :) :o :lol: :| D:< :) :D :| :/ :| D:< :o ;) :( :( :( :o :( :D :o :| :o :roll: :| :/ :| D:< :| :lol: :) D:< :| :| :) :/ :roll: :o :P
f = open("abc.txt","w") => :o :) :) :/ :o :D B) :D :| :( :| :o :) :| :| :o ;) :o :roll: :) :) :) :| :) :( :o :) :| D:< :| B) :| D:< :o :roll: :o :| :o :roll: :| :roll: :o :roll: :o :P
function gcd(a, b){
  while b not equal 0
{
t = b
b = a mod b
a = t
}
  return a
}
becomes:
:o :lol: :) :) B) :D :) :/ :) :( :) :o B) :D :o ;) :o :lol: B) :D :) :) B) :D :o :| B) :D :) :| B) :D :o :P B) :) :o :lol: :o B) :D D:< B) :D :) :| B) :D :o :/ :o :D B) :D :( :( B) :D :o B) B) :) :o B) B) :D :| D:< :o B) :D :o :D B) :D :) :| B) :D :o B) B) :D :) :| B) :D :o :D B) :D :) :) B) :D :P :/ B) :D :) :| B) :D :o B) B) :D :) :) B) :D :o :D B) :D :| D:< :o B) :D :o B) B) :( :o B) ;) :D B) :D :) :) B) :D :o B) B) :(
(i think that's right)

Formality:
Formal SmileyCode are not entirely enclosed on B) :D , nor they contain unenclosed strings that shows syntaxes that exist in the syntax chart. If the code and all of the strings in there are formal, the code is considered "truly formal"

Examples:

print("formal") => :o :lol: :lol: :| :o ;) :o :roll: :) :lol: :| :( :| :lol: :| :) :) :) :) B) :o :roll: :o :P
print("informal") => B) :D :| :o :| :lol: :) ;) :| :| :| D:< :o ;) :o D:< :) ;) :| :| :) :lol: :| :( :| :lol: :| :) :) :) :) B) :o D:< :o :P B) :D
print("informal") => B) :D :| :o :| :lol: :) ;) :| :| :| D:< B) :D :o ;) :o :roll: :) ;) :| :| :) :lol: :| :( :| :lol: :| :) :) :) :) B) :o :roll: :o :P
