Yeah, new tbgers can't create topics, to reach the tbger status, get to 21 posts and then you can create as many topics as you like

why do i have to wait until i get 50 posts to try making my own tbg? is this a rule?

Step 1 is to post exactly 1 more post, step 2 is go to "Forum Profile", step 3 is to upload the profile picture elsewhere, step 4 is to use that link under "Specify avatar by URL"
