Post the function (and maybe name) of a virus that only mildly annoys the user. It can't compromise the functionality of the system, but can make those things significantly harder to do. The next user reacts to how the virus affects their computer use, and then comes up with their own Mildly Inconvenient Computer Virus™

Some rules to go over (this is updated as needed):
- The virus cannot affect hardware. No underclocks, excessive power consumption, disabling ports, locking RAM or drive space, etc.
- Please divide your response and virus description with at least 5 hyphens, underscores or other non-alphanumerical symbols.
- No, you cannot get rid of the virus
- You also cannot circumvent the virus

Every time you boot up, random file names will have a random number, letter or symbol added to them.

simple, don't reboot or shut down your machine. just log out and put it in sleep mode.

every 30 minutes, a random folder on the computer gets added to the taskbar as a toolbar, notepad saves and closes and then the dvd drive gets ejected

What DVD drive? Why are you asking for me to install DVD drive drivers? Why is notepad my most used app?

Each time the cursor crosses between one of the 4 quadrants of the monitor, a random image is pulled from the internet, heavily deep fried and downloaded to a new folder in an available drive.
(If the mouse cursor is hidden, it's still being tracked, and will still activate the virus)

Wii Sports Piracy

Every time a button is clicked, a very loud version of the wii sports theme is played, the sound buttons are also disabled and stuck on 100.

Rickroll.mp3 plays every 10 minutes.  Donating to Rick Astley or installing Linux removes the virus.
