24. The firmware code that runs the fans is disabled and CPU- and GPU-intensive processes are preformed. If there's firmware code that shuts off the device when too hot, disable that too.

Bonus points if the virus displays a funny message like "SOMEONE HAS TURNED ON AN INDESTRUCTIBLE HAIR DRYER INSIDE OF YOUR COMPUTER AND IS GRADUALLY INCREASING ITS POWER CONSUMPTION" before the computer starts melting.
