It's time to [b]BAFAHYDD[/b]. Otherwise you die.
You've been invited to the Fort Games. Collect resources, build a fort, defend against enemies, survive.
[b]Setup[/b]
Players each have their own file to post actions in their portion of the map. Here, they harvest materials from the surroundings, construct their fort and the things inside and fend off enemy forces and hostile wildlife.
The main topic (in the Game Files subforum) allows players to attack other forts and harvest materials within the combat zone. While this area contains more valuable resources you also risk attacks from other players as well as wildlife.
[b]Resources[/b]
The world you spawn in contains resources that regenerate over time. Over the course of the game, players will gain access to more resources as well as high-value items that will help them advance.
Players have 5 resource harvests per turn. You can gain more with new tools.
Players can also instruct their Units to harvest resources safely. This removes the risk of dying while trying to harvest resources.
[b]Building[/b]
[s]Removed in Chapter 3 Season 2[/s] Building is the core feature of the game, and your focus is to use it. Build a defensive structure to prevent enemies from getting to you. Make stations for new tools, constructions and weapons. Build storage to protect resources. Start farms to make healing foods. Launch nukes (unlocked eventually). Note that building is only allowed within your own fort space, and more advanced structures take longer to finalise. Enemy attacks can disrupt building.
[b]Fighting[/b]
[i][s]Street Fighter intensifies[/s][/i] If you're a lunatic, you can charge in and fight without Units to assist or do it for you. However, this method has a 99% chance of death (mostly from the wildlife). For a higher chance of success, hire and send Units out to fight. They will need weapons, since fists can't break structures. Set aside resources for tools and weapons, you'll need it.
