Leif interrupts by smacking the thief in the face with his spatula.

"I was doing a thing there!" Lydia grumbles, using another basic attack.

Deciding that the battle is pretty much over, Eirmede opts to use Warmth again as Jeremy recovers some expended MP with Laugh Track.
"If you didn't want an uneven fight, you shouldn't have started one," Eirmede says.

The purse snatcher is knocked over and doesn't get up.

The purse snatcher falls unconscious.

Battle won.

The purse snatcher dropped some items as he fell.

Obtained:
1x Purse: Give this back to the owner.
1x Water bomb: Deals 15 damage to a target and 5 damage to up to two other targets.
1x Plushie (weapon or magic focus): While equipped, the user and their paired ally take no damage while asleep. In addition, once per battle they may use an action to inflict 3 turns of sleep on themselves.

"...Yeah, kind of. Should we call the police or something?" Lydia asked.

Leif shrugged, and took the purse back to the person it was stolen from.
"Hold onto it tighter next time," he says as he hands it back to her.

The Shield fades out of existence while nobody is looking.

The group continues. Soon, they reach a small village. Several small stands are set up along the sides of the street selling a variety of things. One stand has several boxes knocked over and several oranges, apples, and peaches strewn around. The stand owner is frantically picking up fruit.

Fruit stand owner: "Is it here? No... Where is it? Argh!"

"Hello there," Jeremy says. "Could you use some help picking up this fruit?"

Jeremy also looks, though Eirmede looks impatient.

As the rest of the group helps the fruit stand owner pick up fruit, Lydia and Jeremy look for the pink apples. Lydia spies a group of three girls talking to each other, one holding a pink apple. Meanwhile, Jeremy notices the shady men walk around a corner near the three girls.

Jeremy approaches the group of three girls. "Heya, uh, I was just wondering where you found that pink apple," he says. "Cause my friends and I are looking for a few like that."
