Jason stabs Ascanius in the gut, leaving pretty major wounds.

Before anyone else can move, the guards arrive and immediately go for Jason.

Guard (attack): 8 + 2
Jason (defend): 7

A guard knocks out Jason before he can react with one pommel to the head.

Valfar sighs and picks up Jason's weapon.

V casually walks into the scuffle.

V walks in. There appear to be two guards dragging away Jason.

Suddenly, before anyone can move further, a group of assassins jump down from the trenches and land on the guards dragging Jason, breaking their fall with a sword in their now-corpses. They glance at the stunned spectators before dismissing them and running as one towards the general's room.

Valfar drops Jason's weapon and breaks into a dead run, heading after the assassins.

Otaku comes in and is surprised. "What happened here?"

Valfar chases the assassins into Lieutenant George's tent. As Valfar bursts in, the assassins are standing there. Lieutenant George's eyes bulge as he looks down. A knife is sticking from his chest. "It is done," one of the assassins say as the corpse falls to the ground.

With some clever swordsplay coupled with some horrific defending, the assassin lets a thrust through his defense and he crumples to the ground, dead on the spot. In the chaos, the other assassins seem to have vanished just as help arrives in the form of a few spare soldiers.
