take the two soldiers on the "2" labels and send them to the bottom.  Buy two more and send them east on the top.

Buy boat and 10 soldiers. Expand into west more, while also going to colonise peninsula of second island (north-east) Also, relocate soldiers into shorelines and also on fragile points (like in front of land bridge).

Uh, TBG, the map is wrong. I said to send the soldiers west. West = left. You have sent them east, which is right. Listen to your players

I had assumed you had meant East since you had gotten that wrong before.

Move the soldier next to the capital and the one at the general north. Move the soldier west of the general and the soldier south of him both west. Move the soldier north p-east of the general east.
