Derrik looks for V and finds her. She looks okay, not as bad as you'd expect from someone who barely kept their life. She appears to be fighting someone. One of 4 of the last enemies.

Amazingly, it seems to work, at least a little. The enemy screams in pain before realizing all his friends are gone and runs. One enemy left.

Jim fires but realizes there's no one to fire at. All the enemies have retreated or died.

The day has been won, as proved by the long, seemingly joyful note of the Flugelhorn that signals a job well done. Well actually, it signals that the battle has been won, but it may as well mean the same thing.

Soon, everyone arrives back at their respective bunkers behind the trenches.
