have you ever read koan of the day? it's a collection of neo-buddhist koans presented in the style of a webcomic, with archives and alt text and all that, and all that. read some first, then choose a character!
setting: a village, near a mountain, a lake, and a forest
characters:
lovebug
the banker
the bugkiller
the baker
the jailer
the guard
the student-teacher
the judge
the prosecutor
the lawyer
the tortoise
mrs tortoise
the sunflower
the guru
assorted students
the sun
the lake
the moon
the oracle
the tyger (sic)
the priestess
the Goddess
assorted villagers

rules:
roleplay as you usually would, but type all your character's actions in third person and lowercase. example:

Quote from: tortoiseI eat some lettuce.

becomes

Quote from: tortoisethe tortoise ate some lettuce.

an interaction between two or more characters and ending with a punchline of some sort is called a koan. every koan gives 10 bodhi, or points, to the people who played out the koan. koans can give more bodhi if they are longer.
sometimes koans will also give everyone in the koan attachments. which koans give out what attachments depends on the gm.
