It appears that some humans and some other animals have colonized this planet before you arrived.

I drop a small group of harmless bacteria on to the planet. It must be habitable if humans are here.

Aw... well... slam meteors on the domes and try to drive them out. On second thought just destory their energy sources except for their... spaceships powering ones. If one powers it all then destroy the wires.
