This is the Timeline.

At the beginning, there are only two events in the timeline. The universe begins, and it ends.

You can do some things with it
(But only one thing per update, so I can edit the timeline.)

You can add an event to it.
An event must have two things.

An event must have a position. It must be between two other events. A preceding event, and a succeeding event. This marks the point in time this event happens relative to the others.

Ex:
"Planet Earth forms" happens between "The Universe is Created" and "The Universe is destroyed".

An event must have a cause or effect. It must have at least one. The cause or effect of the added event is another, existing event.

Ex:
"Life forms on Earth" is an effect of "Planet Earth Forms".
"An asteroid brings protein components" is a cause of "Life Forms on Earth".
(Life forming on earth could've been added to the timeline because it was a cause of something else, but in this example, it was added to the timeline because it was an effect of something. An event only needs one or the other to be added to the timeline.)

An event must not contradict any existing event!
Ex:
"Earth falls into the sun" and "Earth is exploded by the doomsday device" can't exist at the same time. Earth can't be destroyed twice. (Unless it was recreated at some point, but you get the idea.)


You can put an event into a category.
An event can be moved to any category. Even ones that don't exist yet. An event can only be in one category.
Generally, a category should be a location. By default, an event goes in the "Universe" category. However, you might want to instead put an event in the "Army of Greenrain" category. That's not necessarily a location, but it could definitely be a useful classification. It's up to you.
