"If half an onion is black with rot, it is a rotten onion. A man is good or he is evil."
— Melisandre of Asshai, A fictional woman who is very much in the wrong.

Undecember 12th, 1634
The District of Jefferson was in chaos, especially in the governmental area.  All of a sudden, they were going up against a large empire that took up an entire quarter of Ishtar's surface area known as the Empire of Dimm.  The Empress, Ashiel Heidinoff, has specifically set a notice that if they don't surrender the Congregation of West Superia within 48 hours, then she'll take over the country and use it to start taking over Cassini.
She then politely asked for questions.

An overview of the two planets

Cassini
Cassini is an interesting planet in that it seems to have the exact geography of our Earth- but rotated ninety degrees on its axis.  The Americas are in the southern hemisphere and now called the Superias.  Europa, Rassin, and Africa, based on Europe, Asia, and... Africa respectively. Africa and Australia both have the same name as their earth counterparts to keep things simple, and Australia specifically has more lush area and as such even more spiders.  However, they're still right-side up.
this article is an approximation of the planet's climate.
And a lot of things has changed as well.  Islam, rather than Christianity, is the dominant religion worldwide taking up 20% of the population, though the Superias are a mix of Christian and Atheist.  There were two world wars so far, though the circumstances were slightly diffrent, and the Second Reich still has a significant place in Rassin, though they never actually exterminated jews in the first place.  The fascist leader at the time, Edlevensky Hintley, had no interest in killing Jews.
Instead, he was responsible for the death of 7,999,999 Christians.  The last, a man known as Avery Henchwing, killed Hintley and them himself in 1324 CE, causing the second World War to go into a downward spiral of chaos and destruction until the Republic of Smear, a faction of Raccoons on around the real-life america-canada border, forced everyone to form a peace treaty or else they would go out of their way to launch all the nukes they hacked into.
They really just did it to protect the foxes.
the Republic of Smear is reportedly still an interesting faction to this day.

Ishtar
Ishtar is a planet somewhat closer to the sun than Cassini.  It is comprised of a mainland, called Enxri (Mainland in Dimm) taking up somewhere from 20-40% of the planet's surface area, surrounded by a single ocean of islands, known collectively as Heidri un Unxri (literally just Ocean of Islands in Dimm), 60% of which are volcanic.  The Uni were evolved on Enxri and have been fighting until their evolution into the industrial stage, which is where Year 1 is for them.  Eventually, a powerful Uni woman known as Kelon Deninoff tied a good portion of Enxri together and has been starting to expand into northern islands, which are now known as Unxri un Kelon.  She died from an illness in old age (for clarification, she was approximately 120 Lonxin also known as Ishtaran Years), and has been succeeded up until today's Ashiel.  However, a rebellion has sparked since known as the Revolt of Dimm, or in their language, the Lonxil un Dimm, and is going to this day.
Ishtar has a 1013/225-day year, except for every fourth in which the calendar skips the last day of the year, known in their base as 23/23 and in ours as 15/15, around the time of the northern hemisphere's spring equinox.
It's gonna get hard to manage.

The Races

Humans
Humans are your standard, run-of-the-mill two legged idiots whose species you yourself are in real life.  They currently have modern-level technology, but with a bit more of an emphasis on space advancement since .  Think late 2010s, but, like, juuust slightly more advanced.  The second world war kinda brought them back a bit, but hey, an entire half a century's worth of 16-bit videogames with tiny controllers built for raccoons are always a plus!

Raccoons
Raccoons, in the meantime, are trash pandas living in a society that are just barely being able to begin to understand computers (with exceptions in a few individuals) with a lifespan of thirty years, mostly due to the fact that they have a more fine-tuned heart.  They also have their own languages and customs, and can understand foxes more easily than humans- except in writing, in which written English is a very common language for raccoons.  They've built their own structures with complex tunnels and round rooms, and have even created raccoon-size weapons like little mini-revolvers, all to protect foxes from humans.  Being both bipedal and quadrupedal is sufficiently comfortable for them.  Significant raccoon settlements include the Republic of Smear and Las Heladas.

Foxes
Even foxes have human intelligence, though they mostly really live underground or in remote settlements, as far away from humans- and close to raccoons- as possible.  They've developed a symbiotic relationship over the years- Raccoons give foxes safety, stability, and protection from humans while foxes provide things like natural, raw materials they themselves don't need and moral support.  It is not uncommon to see foxes in raccoon settlements.  It not uncommon for a fox to be illiterate, as it merely doesn't interest most foxes, but there's still a good portion of the population literate in human speech.  Their quadrupedal build makes it hard for them to write as well, and since very few raccoons have keyboards it's highly difficult for them to communicate with humans.  Raccoons, however, are very easy to talk to.  There are even some cases of Raccoon-Fox relationships, which is accepted in some areas and not so in others.

Uni
The Uni are the humanlike race from Ishtar.  On the outside, they're certainly not human.  They're essentially five-foot-tall catlike beings with anthro builds, and a single horn on their foreheads, the females of whom have six very small breasts, who come in all sorts of colors and patterns and even bleed green and blue instead of red.  However, they still share a lot with humans.  Their intelligence and ingenuity.  Their moral compasses. Their history, despite preferring females over males.  Clothes are also very common for them to wear like humans. They also have the luxury of being able to speak not unlike a human, which made them very easy to get advanced enough to travel between planets and create the first hyper-intelligent androids in the solar system.  Speaking of which-

Ishtaran Androids
The oldest Ishtaran Android, Selphi-1, is about three years old.  They're a rather recent technology, honestly.
They've usually been programmed to do a certain task, but for whatever reason they have become so intelligent that they've actually become self-aware.  And when they realize they haven't been getting paid-
Well, yeah.
There's an android rebellion now.
Ishtaran androids have a lot of real-life computer components, such as RAM and Motherboards and CPUs.  They don't even have blood!  However, they still have LED lights on their cheeks to showcase emotion and processing status.  When flustered, they blush in a cool color.  When processing, they blush in a purple color.  When stressed, they blush in a red color and start flashing more quickly the more stressed they are.  They'll also produce a yellow color if their programming runs into a critical error or they have a virus or something.  They also have rather hard skin and come in all builds, from uni to humans to dogs to Ishtaran fauna to all sorts of things.  And all of them are susceptible to deviating from their programming.

An in-depth look on Cassini

This, my friends, is where you come in.
What?  I can't write all the lore of this rp.  There's two planets' worth of space to fill, so I hope you madlads can help fill it out.  I will work on it as well.  Dont w o r r y.
That being said-

Date and time
Stranely enough, the humans have actually organized their days into thirteen months of 28 days each, as well as making one- or, every four years, two- days not attached to any month that mark the beginning od the next year, known as 0/0.  The leap day is known as 1/0.  The months, in order from first to last, are January, Febuary, March, April, May, June, September, October, November, December, Undecember, Decembuary, and Tridecember.  This is convenient because Saturdays land on a multiple of seven.
Clocks work as they normally do in real life.
As for the calendar, the Common Era began when Muhammad was exiled from Mecca, as Islam is a significantly more common religion in this universe.
The foxes and raccoons just rolled with it.

An in-depth look on Ishtar

Honestly?

BASE SIX
You may be wondering why the Uni make their operations in base six.
...Honestly, it was arbitrarily decided to them based on
uh
the fact that they had ten fingers.  Let's be honest.  They had more efficient methods of counting for whatever reason.  This is another concept used in real life.  It's also why a uni will say something like "A stack of items amounts to one nif foursy-four in minecraft" rather than "A stack of items amounts to sixty-four in minecraft," which, of course, still cannot be played between people of different planets just yet.  The technology is being worked on by Nintendo as we speak, however.  Oh, yeah, did you know that Nintendo is working on FTL communication.

Date and Time
Strangely enough, the Uni have had a simple Dozen-three by Dozen-three calendar since the dawn of the industrial era, with days divided up into six nif Spans.  Conveniently, a day in Ishtar is almost exactly as long as a day on earth, which of course means less headaches for you guys.  In other news, every fourth year Ishtar takes away a day from the end of the year, which of course meant thirsy-two years, to them, was when the calendar was synchronized from thirsy-two years ago.  They tend to organize periods of time in Niflonxin, or 36/100 Lonxin.

The Empire of Dimm- Naming conventions
Most of the time- not always, but most of the time, a Uni from Dimm's last name will usually be the first name of their mother's, followed by -kan if they are male, and -noff if they are female.  The two suffixes literally mean "son" or "daughter," respectively.
