Quote from: Infinite The StorytellerAfter defeating Eggman again, Sonic and his friends go relaxing. However, with the disappearance of a few buildings in Station Square, Eggman becoming corrupted by Negative Chaos Energy, the (fortunate) appearance of Tikal and Chaos, and other weird occurences, Sonic and the gang will have to save Mobius once again!

Gameplay
In battle, the roleplay will use a d20 system, 1 being the worst roll, 10 being average, and 20 being the best roll. Observe:
Quote from: Sonic The HedgehogI spindash at Mecha Sonic.
Quote from: Shadow The HedgehogI use a Chaos Spear on Mecha Sonic.
Quote from: Ian123asdSonic=20
Shadow=1

Sonic's Spindash hits Mecha Sonic in the face, causing Mecha to flinch in pain.
Shadow is unable to build up the concentration needed for a Chaos Spear.

Mecha Sonic=10

Mecha Sonic spindashes at the two hedgehogs. Mecha Sonic misses Sonic, but hits Shadow.

Sonic=Healthy
Shadow=Knocked down, severely injured
Mecha Sonic=Healthy

Zones and Islands
There are currently 3 islands you can explore: South Island, Westside Island, and Angel Island. These islands contain numerous zones. Some zones are located in rather unorthodox locations, such as, well, Space!

South Island's Zones
Green Hill Zone - A lush, grassy zone filled with loops, and checker tiled walls! This is the first zone in which Sonic started his adventures!
Marble Zone - A zone filled with fireballs, purple walls, and lava pits! Watch your step!
Spring Yard Zone - As South Island's central zone of entertainment, this zone is filled with tons of springs! You may to COPE with the zone's sections, sometimes!
Labyrinth Zone - Quite possibly the most tedious zone in South Island, Labyrinth Zone in filled with traps, badniks, and, worse, fluctuating water levels!
Star Light Zone - One of South Island's cities, this zone has got a lot of futuristic platforms, and some nice-to-listen-to music!
Scrap Brain Zone - As Eggman's base of operations in South Island, this zone contains some technological traps, badniks, and some other crazy monstrosities! Honestly, in my opinion, one of the worst things about this zone is it's underground section, which is literally Labyrinth Zone with a gray pallete.

Westside Island's Zones
Emerald Hill Zone - A grassy zone resembling Green Hill Zone, this is the first stage that Sonic and Tails went through in their quest to stop the Death Egg!
Chemical Plant Zone - Eggman's major chemical factory, this place is still full of Badniks and (yuck!) Mega Mack!
Aquatic Ruins Zone - A place similar to Labyrinth Zone, this zone is one tedious level! (At least it's somewhat grassy!)
Casino Night Zone - This zone is one massive casino, and Westside Island's center of entertainment! With bumpers all over the place, you're gonna have some fun around this zone! Stay a while!
Hill Top Zone - This zone seems to be another lush area. However, watch out for the lava pits!
Oil Ocean - A zone that Eggman had conquered before, it is surrounded by a lake of.... oil. At least there's some fun cannons around here!
Mystic Cave Zone - This zone takes place in a large cave. Don't get crushed by the giant floating crates!

Other Zones
Station Square - A "Zone Lobby" of sorts, this bustling city contains transportation to various islands and zones! Characters start here.

Mystic Ruins Zone - One of the zones Station Square leads to, this contains a nice jungle scenery, and even a few Chao Gardens!

Special Stages - Special Stages are stages in which your character may attain a Chaos Emerald after collecting enough rings. Be careful, the zone has some very eccentric pathways!

Death Egg - As Eggman's base of operations in space, Eggman is conjuring up a new scheme to take over the world! Team Sonic and the gang must destroy the Death Egg, and stop Eggman's schemes!

Space Colony ARK - A space colony built over 50 years ago, not much is to be said about it, other than, well... the GUN raid.

Special Objects
Rings are scattered across the world. They serve as currency, and experienced characters will be able to harness a ring's power, enhancing their abilities for 7 posts. In addition, Rings can absorb damage, though that will cause your character to lose 5 rings. The amount of damage rings can absorb depends on how many rings your character has.
Spikes are rather common, and Can... Well... Impale you if you aren't careful.
Speed Shoes are somewhat rare, and can be found in shops. As the name implies, Speed Shoes will grant you super speed! Though you won't be going as fast as Sonic, you will have your super speed as long as you are wearing the shoes! You may also wear Speed Shoes as a part of your appearance in the Appearance option in the Character Registration form.
Springs are sorta like overpowered trampolines, springing you to higher ground. These are very useful, and very common. There are Red Springs and Yellow Springs, Red Springs being the most powerful of the two Spring types. Avoid any Spring with Eggman's face
on it, as it will probably steer you in the wrong direction!
Dash Panels send you... Well.... Dashing in a certain direction! These are most commonly found in city areas! Be careful not to trip on them!
Chaos Drives are scattered all over the world. They can be found in some badniks as well, and can be used to boost your Chao's stats.
The types of Chaos Drives are:
Green Chaos Drives - These boost your Chao's speed.
Red Chaos Drives - These boost your Chao's power.
Purple Chaos Drives - These boost your Chao's flight.
Yellow Chaos Drives - These boost your Chao's swimming.
Monitors are also scattered across the world. Different monitors have special effects.
These Monitors are:
1-up Monitors - Breaking them will give the character who broke the monitor a extra life. These monitors are fairly common.
Ring Monitors - Breaking them will give a random amount of rings to the character who broke them. These monitors are very common.
Eggman Monitors - Breaking them will deal damage to the character who broke them. These monitors are most commonly found in Eggman-ruled places (say, Scrap Brain Zone)
Invincibility Monitors - These monitors will give the character who broke them invincibility, for 5 posts.
S Monitors - These monitors will cause the character who broke them to transform (see Transformations section), depending on which requirements are filled. If none of the necessary conditions to transform are met, The character in question will temporarily gain Super Speed for 15 posts. These monitors are very rare.
Speed Shoe Monitors - Being the more common monitor form of Speed Shoes, this monitor gives you Super Speed for 8 posts.
and lastly, Teleportation Monitors - these monitors don't just teleport you, they also have a plethora of other possible effects. these monitors are very rare as well!
Chaos Emeralds are 7 mystical jewels that can be unlocked by entering a Special Stage (see Zones section). These Emeralds can enhance a character's powers, depending on the Chaos Emerald, but only if said character has them. Chaos Emeralds can also be used to unlock a character's hidden abilites, if any. If all 7 are collected, The character who has the Emeralds can transform!
Super Emeralds are the powered up versions of the Chaos Emeralds! Going to Angel Island and placing the Emeralds around the Master Emerald will power them up.

Badniks
These are Eggman's simpler robots. Defeating them will cause the animals trapped inside them to jump out and hop away in their newfound freedom!
These Badniks include:
Motobug - A ladybug robot with wheels. This robot may try to run you over. This robot is very weak.
Buzz Bomber - A bee/wasp robot. It's stinger shoots energy balls at you. This robot is weak.
Crabmeat - A crab robot. This robot is weak, also.
Caterkiller - A caterpillar robot. This robot can only be destroyed by having it's head obliterated, and is only found in Hill Top Zone and Marble Zone.
Balkiry - A bird robot. This robot is fairly weak.
Spinner - A spinning robot. This robot is weak, but it's slicer blades can be deadly.
Egg Pawn - A robot resembling Eggman. This robot is fairly weak, but may be encountered carrying weaponary.

Chao
Chao are cute creatures found in Chao Gardens. Some Chao may be found wondering off in the zones.
Feed your Chao Chao Fruit and Chaos Drives to boost its stats. Chao may help in battles as support characters. (The effect depends on the chao)
The more time you spend with your Chao, the more they may develop your traits. Treat your Chao well!

Teams
Characters can decide to join as teams. Not only can members of a team support each other (For example: healing each other, giving your partner extra rings, etc.), the character who joins a team will level up! Though individual tag-teams can only have a max of 3 members, when multiple teams decide to work together, a Team Alliance will be formed! Remember, strength in numbers is very important for winning!
Team Blasts
A team of 3 characters can perform Team Blasts. Team Blasts are very effective for taking out opponents, but must be done carefully, as Team Blasts don't work under the d20 system, unlike other attacks.

Here is an example of a successful Team Blast:

Quote from: Miles "Tails" ProwerAs the Team Blast is initiated, I charge up a Hand Cannon and prepare to fire it at the Egg Pawn.
Quote from: Sonic The HedgehogI rev up a Spindash, and get ready to crash into the Egg Pawn.
Quote from: Knuckles The EchidnaI punch the Egg Pawn in the face, jump over the Egg Pawn, and grab it from behind.
Quote from: Ian123asdThe Egg Pawn is stunned for a few moments and attempts to break free, but is powerless against Knuckles' superior strength.
Sonic and Tails release their respective attacks, and Knuckles jumps out of the way just in time for Sonic and Tails' Hand Cannon Blast to crash into the Egg Pawn, destroying it.
Sonic=Healthy
Tails=Healthy
Knuckles=Healthy
Egg Pawn=Destroyed

Team Blast Successful!
Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles have leveled up!

Now, here is an example of a failed Team Blast:
Quote from: Miles "Tails" ProwerAs the Team Blast is initiated, I charge up a Hand Cannon and prepare to fire it at Metal Sonic.
Quote from: Sonic The HedgehogI rev up a Spindash, and get ready to crash into Metal.
Quote from: Knuckles The EchidnaI attack Metal and grab him upfront.
Quote from: Ian123asdMetal is stunned by Knuckles' attack, and is held back by Knuckles' super strength.
Sonic and Tails release their respective attacks. While Knuckles is distracted with Metal, he doesn't see Sonic and Tails' Hand Cannon Blast both hurtling at him. Though Sonic is lucky enough to swerve out of the way, Tails has no such control over his attack and it hits Knuckles head on.
Metal is unharmed, and as Sonic spins towards Metal to finish the job, Metal kicks Sonic into a nearby tree.

Sonic=Slightly injured
Tails=Healthy
Knuckles=Severely injured
Metal Sonic=Healthy
Team Blast Failed!

As you can see, the Team Blasts you just saw were affected by Knuckles' actions. To put it simply, you need to make the right actions and attacks to make a successful Team Blast. Remember, Team Blasts are a whole team effort!

Transformations
There are transformations gained by filling certain requirements. These transformations allow you to wield ultimate power! The downside is the fact that they are unstable and will drain 1 ring every post. When you run out of rings while transformed, your character will drop to your normal state, a hit being as dangerous as ever.

These are:
Super - Attained by gaining the 7 Chaos Emeralds, Super has enhanced abilities, such as super speed (and occasionally run-flight) and super reflexes among others. However, his strongest ability is his invincibility to practically everything (except drowning, falling into a bottomless pit, or getting crushed)

Dark - Summoned by over-exposure to negative Chaos Energy and an abundance of anger, Dark has super speed, super reflexes, and enough power to rival even Super! Being a negative parallel to Super, however, he is still hard to control!

Hyper - Gained by attaining all of the Super Emeralds, Hyper has a stats boost so huge that he is known as the most powerful transformation to date! Hyper can also breathe in water and has an Ultimate Ability (Depending on the character) that can destroy every enemy in his line of sight!

Character Registration
To register, fill in this form:
Name:
Species:
Appearance:
Chaos Energy Type:
Extra Ability 1 (Optional):
Extra Ability 2 (Optional):
Alignment:
Personality:
Extra Notes:

You have a total of 3 character slots for your characters. However, if your character dies or leaves the roleplay in some other way, the character slot that they inhabit with be cleared, allowing you to add another character.
Your alignment when registering is only your starting alignment. You can change it through your choices!
As for roleplaying styles, third-person and first-person are allowed! First-person roleplaying is only allowed when you have just one character, however!

Types of Chaos Energy
Chaos Energy types are divided into three categories: Chaos Alignments, Chaos Formations, and Chaos Elements.
A Chaos Type is basically just like this: --
Chaos Alignments
Chaos Alignments are: Positive and Negative.
Positive - this Chaos Alignment is the purer of the two. Positive Types can heal people, and cause plants to grow.
Negative - this Chaos Alignment is the more destructive of the two. Negative Types can cause plants to wither, and can only heal other Negative Types. Overusage of Chaos Energy will cause Negative Types to lose control!
Chaos Formations
The three Chaos Formations are: Speed, Flight, and Power.
Speed - Speed Types, true to their formation, have Super Speed.
The Speed Formation exclusive abilities are:
Spindash - Here, the Speed Type in question rolls into a ball in place, then blasts off.
Boost - When performing this maneuver, Speed Types can jettyson forward in a burst of speed that lasts as long as they can keep up their concentration.
Super Peel Out - Here, Speed Types can run in place, then launch foward in a burst of Speed similar to the Spindash.
Homing Attack - When performing this move, Speed Types can hone in on their enemies. They can only do it in midair.
Drop Dash - When using this ability, Speed Types will rev up a Spindash in midair. However, the will only release it when the hit the ground the revving it up!
Insta-Shield - When using this ability, Speed Types will roll so fast that a shield of electricity will spawn around them for a split-second or two, rendering them virtually invincible to enemy attacks! Most transformations cannot use this ability, however.

Flight - Flight Types can (obviously) fly. However, if they fly for too long, Flight Types can get tired. As their abilities are unlocked, and with practice, Flight Types will be able to fly for longer periods of time, and, when transformed, will be able to fly indefinitely.
Flight Type exclusive abilities are:
Airdash: This is a variant of the Spindash that can only be used in Midair.
Flicky Attack: While transformed, Flight Types can summon Flickies that are in the same transformed states. these Flickies will attack any enemies for the Flight Type in question. (For example, if Tails went Super, he would be able to summon Super Flickies to pull off the attack.)
Power - Power Types have super strength, and can carry even the heaviest loads with ease.
Power Type exclusive abilities are:
Glide - Power Types can glide.
Wall Climb - Power Types can climb walls.
Dig - Power Types can dig. Perfect for finding hidden treasure.
Stomp - Power Types can increase their gravity, causing them to fall much faster.

There is a formation triangle between these Chaos Formations:

Speed > Power
Flight > Speed
Power > Flight
Chaos Elements
There are 4 main Chaos Elements (Known as the Special Chaos Elements) and 4 other Chaos Elements (Known as the Side Chaos Elements). The Special Chaos Elements are the strongest elements out of the Elemental list.
The Special Chaos Elements are:
Pyro - Pyro Types can manipulate fire, ranging from fireballs, to raging infernoes!
Hydro - Hydro Types can manipulate water, ranging from a trickle of water to a tidal wave!
Terrain - Terrain Types can manipulate earth, ranging from solid walls of earth to sharp spikes to a landslide!
Aero - Aero Types can manipulate wind, ranging from little more than a breeze, to a tornado!

The Side Chaos Elements are:
Arctic - Arctic Types can freeze objects, the easiest substance to freeze being water.
Tech - Tech Types can manipulate metal, electricity, and technology. Tech Type can also create metallic clones of themselves, and can fuse with those clones to become stronger!
Radio - Radio Types can manipulate radiation, ranging from a seemingly harmless gust of hot air, to a scalding blast of plasma!
Tele - Tele Types have the power of telekenisis, whereas they can move objects with their mind.

Extra Abilities
Extra Abilities are special, character-only Abilities that may have certain effects, depending on your imagination! You may have up to 2 Extra Abilities! Though giving yourself an Extra Ability is optional, it can really help you in your game session! However, try to not overpower it too much!

Extra Rules
No metagaming. As much it sounds like a reference to Meta Knight, Metagaming is actually knowing something that you shouldn't be able to know. (For example: Tails shouldn't know that Sonic and Knuckles had a battle unless he witnessed it, was told about it, found out about it some other way, or better yet, participated in the battle.)

No godmodding. It's one thing to be a Speed Type and use your super speed to constantly attack someone, and it's another to be dodging everything,
hitting everyone, and nuking the place, which brings me to....

No nukes. (Unless you happen to be transformed and like to fire Chaos Energy blasts the size of a nuke and/or have lost control of the transformation)

No Mary Sues. Mary Sues are characters who are supposed to be "perfect". Characters like that are in fact far from perfect and are just a pile of garbage.
No cursing. "crap" is allowed because it isn't even an actual curse word.

Keep things appropriate for all ages. Follow the TBG Forums guidelines, alright?

Romance is allowed. However, keep it appropriate.
Before anyone asks the dreaded question, homosexuality is not allowed in this roleplay!

Roleplayers may update their Character Profiles by posting a request to the GM, stating their reason why and what they want to change. If it is accepted, consider your request done! This is reserved for special uses only (For example, if you missed an important detail on your character)!

The Roleplay may also receive Updates. These updates serve to add and change certain Roleplaying features! Though you may not usually experience any negative side effects from the updates, this notice is mostly here for the sake of information!

If you're gonna ban gays the just ban gays dude like nobody cares. Don't try and cover it up tho. You literally edited both posts trying to act like none of this happened and it just goes to show how much of a chicken you're being to save your skin.

Okay, I edited the reply, because why not, and I just edited the main post because I wanted to not focus as much on romance, but if you insist...
