"Hello everyone, and Welcome to the 52nd Annual Pokemon Tournament!" The announcer shouts over the intercom, for all watching to hear. "The tournament is a challenge for who can catch powerful Pokemon! The one thing about is... You don't get your own team! You have to fight them yourself!"
The audience cheers because the one thing they want most is to see someone get killed by a Pokemon.

Official Rules of The Tournament:
1] Use of Equipment Within the Tournament:
1.1] You may only use the equipment you are given. Any use of other equipment will get you disqualified from the tournament.
1.1a] You are provided with 3 Ultra Balls, 5 Great Balls, and as many Normal Pokeballs as you need.
1.1b] You are also provided with a small hatchet and two Climbing picks.
1.2] You cay not use any captured Pokemon in the Tournament. Any use will get you disqualified.
1.2a] This includes Pokemon captured during the tournament. The Pokeball containing your Catch will be confiscated.
1.3] All contestants must have agreed to and signed the Liability Waiver.

2] Progress of the Tournament:
2.1] The tournament will accept 16 contestants into the competition.
2.1a] one of those 16 must be the returning champion if he/she chooses to enter again.
2.2] At the end of every round, the top half performances of the normal field are sent to the next round.
2.2a] The normal field is what the field would look like if less than half the field were deceased.
2.2b] This means it goes from 16 to 8 to 4 to 2, even if more than half the field becomes deceased. The sequence will resume normally once fewer people die.

3] Policy on Deceased Contestants
3.1] If the Contestant becomes Deceased within any part of the tournament, he/she may not leave the grounds until the tournament is over.
3.2] If the Contestant becomes Deceased, the body is property of The Sponsor until the Tournament is over.
3.2b] The Sponsor will ensure the body, assuming it still exists, is kept in the condition from which it had just died.
3.3] The Tournament is not legally held Responsible if a contestant happens to die during the tournament.

4] Liability Waiver
4.1] The Contestant Agrees that The Tournament and/or The Sponsor are not legally responsible if the Contestant takes any injury over the course fo the tournament.
4.2] The Contestant Agrees to abide by the aforementioned Rules and that The Tournament and/or The Sponsor are not responsible for Damages as a result of failure to abide by these rules.
